This September I’m going to be on the road with Then Jerico. These guys haven’t played together in their original line-up for 22 years and it’s 25 years since the release of their chart topping album “The Big Area.” I’m going to be there every step of the way as the guys once again take on the British rock scene with their unique brand of pop rock and with a bit of luck we’ll survive to film the final date of the tour at the O2 Academy in London.
Over the summer I’ve had the pleasure of producing live MotoGP from Germany and Live World Superbikes from Brno for Eurosport. Many thanks to all of my team, particularly Kevin Darbyshire-Bryant and Paul Crichton for their incredible sound supervisor skills and of course my commentators, Toby Moody and Julian Ryder for MotoGP and Steve Day and Neil Hodgson for their amazing work on the Superbikes.
We’re also piloting a comedy show with our good friend Joseph Capellazzi and are helping the one and only Dan Richardson to develop his upcoming feature film. More news on both projects when it becomes available.
With the start of the football season looming, I will once again be over at IMG doing the BBC’s Saturday night Football League Show. I’ll also be taking up residence in the ESPN galleries covering both football and rugby amongst other things from all over the world. Tune in, kick back and enjoy the season. It’s going to be a belter.
